Seeing Red

 Divorce and the stress that goes a long with it can make someone really P.O.-ed!

Sometimes being angry goes away, and other times it doesn’t and affects everything we do.

 

I’m no psychologist, but I’ve read that anger is actually a secondary emotion

and is a result of hurt feelings, among other things.

 

I know from experience staying mad isn’t the answer

because no matter what,

it always seems to stand in the way of my own happiness and concentration.


This quote says it quite well:

 

“Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; 

you are the one who gets burned.” Buddha quotes
